Operators
Cezar, VE3LYC - [email protected]
I am a DXer with DXCC HR 339, 5BWAZ, IOTA 1090, 2780 DXCC Challenge, and the current DXCC sum of CW, SSB, and DIGI 1003. Passionate about IOTA, I operated from various rare and new IOTA groups: NA-009, 172, 186, 194, 205, 208, 230, 231, 248, OC-098, 158, 168, 179, 218, 286, 294, SA-031, 095, 096, 097. I prefer CW and I'm a member of FOC (#1994), but also keen on SSB and digital modes.
I remain genuinely attracted by the challenges associated with operations from remote locations. The projects I have been involved with are as much about the destination as they are about the journey. While each project has its own specific hurdles, the common features are represented by our resilience - which keeps pushing us forward, and social nature - which allows us to work together in overcoming difficulties.
Adrian, KO8SCA - [email protected]
I am a keen DXer with DXCC 314, 9BDXCC, IOTA, and a passionate contester who participated at the WRTC in 2018. I also carried out expeditions to destinations including 6O, 9M0, FJ, FM, J3, J8, VK9C, VK9X, VP5, VP9, and Z2, been guest operator at 4U1UN and HV0A. I have access to the WE2OEM superstation, and I am primarily interested in CW, but versed in any mode.
The technical side and the lure of the DX are what first attracted me to the hobby. I enjoy travelling and love to combine it with ham radio whenever possible. Additionally, I find contesting very challenging, which allows me to continue improving my skills and knowledge on a broad range of relevant topics, from electronics to propagation, and from software to general operating practice.
